Truckee Meadows #37 Hidden Valley Fire Station – Renovations and New Apparatus Bay
Reno approved on 12/11/19 the boundary line adjustment with TMFPD needed to move this project to the next step, the SUP from the county’s Board of Adjustment (BOA). The BOA’s next scheduled meetings are 1/2/2020 and 2/6/2020 and, given the delays by Reno, it now may be too late to get on the January agenda.
Once the SUP is issued, work can immediately begin on the renovations to the house (living quarters), which is being funded from cash flow. The solicitation of bids for the new apparatus bay building will likely go out in February, with a contract for construction let in May.
