The Association hosts and sponsors a number of events throughout the year.
Whether they’re informative or fun, there’s nothing like an in-person gathering to enlighten, inform and connect us. While there were some events cancelled for the “COVID years,” these events help serve the purpose of strengthening our neighborhood bonds (and having a really good time).
Enduring examples include:
Monthly Homeowners Meetings: The Board gathers and members are invited to attend. While these are primarily “business” meetings, it’s so valuable to get together and exchange ideas. And as an added bonus, meeting and greeting old and new neighbors and friends.
Candidates’ Forum: Held in election years, after the primaries. HVHA is entirely apolitical but the Candidates’ Forum gives Hidden Valley residents a chance to hear directly from those vying to represent them in local, county and state government.
Parade of Lights: A Christmas light contest that brings out the decorator in many, and brings holiday cheer to every corner of Hidden Valley. It begins in early December and runs through New Year’s Day.
Easter Egg Hunt: The annual Easter Egg Hunt is organized by HV resident, Terry Tholl. It’s a always a fun affair for the kids and grandkids. And adorable? Yes!
Summer Picnic in the Park: This is a real neighborhood picnic – like those you see in old movies! Our annual picnic is a wonderful way to bring our community together. Young, old, hot dogs, hamburgers, music, fire trucks, and a chance to see old friends and meet new ones.
