The ceremony is open to the public and the RTC invites everyone to come celebrate the completion of the SouthEast Connector. People who want to attend can enter the SouthEast Connector from Reno at the Veterans Parkway/South Meadows intersection, and then follow on-site parking directions. The road will remain closed to through-traffic during and following the ceremony, but will open to traffic that evening by 9 p.m.
“We are proud to deliver this project to our community,” said RTC Executive Director Lee Gibson. “This project created hundreds of local construction jobs and will continue to help our region’s growing economy and connectivity between the cities of Reno and Sparks.”
