Washoe County holds regular meetings where decisions are made that may affect the quality of life in Hidden Valley. If you’re interested, here are some links and information to assist you in attending.
Washoe County Planning Commission
The Planning Commission meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Washoe County Commission Chambers, 1001 E. 9th Street, Building A, First Floor, Reno, NV. For meeting agenda and information, visit the Washoe County Planning Commission page.
Citizen Advisory Board
Participating on a local Citizen Advisory Board (CAB) is a direct way to help shape how a community functions, its character and its growth. The purpose of the CAB is to communicate ideas and concerns of local citizens to the County Commissioners, thus enabling the Commissioners to better do the job to which they were elected. Topics of discussion at CAB meetings are focused on planning and may include a review of local proposed development, regulations and master planning. For meeting agenda and information, visit the Washoe County CAB page.
